We are excited to recap the fantastic experience we had at our recent Women in Technology Web Development Workshop. This event was a celebration of learning, creativity, and community as we delved into the world of web development using R.

The event was held in partnership with R-Ladies NYC, enriching our community collaboration and ensuring a diverse and inclusive learning environment. It was a fantastic opportunity to delve into the world of web development and R programming.

The workshop kicked off with an engaging introduction, setting the stage for an interactive and hands-on session. Participants from diverse backgrounds came together to explore the steps of building a website using R. Guided by a varieties of resources, our attendees navigated through the process with enthusiasm and curiosity.

Highlights of the Workshop:

  1. Interactive Learning: The workshop fostered a collaborative environment where everyone learned from basic concepts to advanced techniques; we covered a wide spectrum of web development principles with Quarto.

  2. Hands-On Experience: Participants had the opportunity to apply their newfound knowledge immediately. Through practical example and guided tutorials, they created their own websites step by step.

  3. Building a Fabulous Website: By the end of the workshop, each participant successfully crafted a stunning website using R. We are proud to showcase their creativity and achievement.
